A very large Ohannessian early Palestine pottery bowl. Of  flattened form with a slightly inverted rim.The decoration composed of a pair of mythical birds  flanking a central cypress tree, within a ground of flowering stems.The border with floral motifs. Diameter 39cm, Height 8cm.
