Large solid silver antique German challah tray,made by the well known Jewish German silversmith Lazarus Posen. Oval in form hammered silver, with thick relevant Hebrew text along the rim, and centered with a Star of David.Clearly hallmarked with the Posen stamp,circa 1900. Length 40.5cm, Width 28.5cm, Weight 642.5 grams.
