Late 19th century antique huge massive silver handled centerpiece. Made by the well
known Jewish silversmith Lazarus Posen,who was unique among 19th and 20th
century German silver manufactures. Intricate in design with foliate and ribbon
motifs, set on four scrolled feet and set on a huge matching tray. Clearly
hallmarked in various places. Size of bowl from handle to handle,
68cm X 39cm, Height 21cm. Size of tray: 75cm X48cm,Height 4cm.
Total silver weight 9 Kilo 400 grams.
